My journey to find the best earbuds for my ipod has taken a few years of research and several purchases which have included the Bose noise cancelling earphones (QC2 and 3) as well as the Shure EC3. well i buy quite a few cheap headphones for the gym but usually they do not last very long, this headphones provide an awesome sound and fit perfectly with the loop behind the ear very comfortable. the sound is deep and i love the bass. I}m not and audiophile but i feel that you get great quality for what you pay for.
i dont know how long they will last but i've had them for three months and they are going great so far

I originally ordered a "v-moda bass freq" set of earbuds to go with my Sansa Fuze mp3/ogg player(which is awesome by the way). The V-moda's were rated highly in some editorial reviews, so I got em. They were decent, but absolutely horrible for any type of movement (like jogging). Also, with most earbuds, it's essential to get the alignment and distance just right, in order to get the best sound out of them, and the v-moda bass freqs (about the same price orig btw) often took a fair amount of ... I had been using these earbud for about 3 weeks when the plastic part connected to the "ear piece" got disconnected on both sides. Only the wires were keeping these together. I taped the pieces together so I could keep using them. Then about 6 months later one side stopped working. I would not recommend this product for anyone.

I shopped for a pair of phones that stayed secure and had great sound and these did the trick. Highly recommended!
