Rating: - Thought the problem was with my car, but I guess not ...
I picked up this device for $20 at Fry's the other day and had the same shoddy experience that many others have described. Before reading about others' experiences, I thought it might be the location of the cigarette adapter in my car (2002 BMW 330Ci), but I am no longer convinced that is the case.
The "auto tune" feature would land me on stations that either had a lot of static or were broadcasting loud and clear. So, I resorted to the manual tuning functionality.

Rating: - Utter rubbish, do NOT buy this.
Wow. My first review and only because this product is so bad it's scary. Truly horrifically atrocious. It's not just that I'm ultra-picky or somthing, I promise you if it was even SLIGHTLY acceptable I'd be happy with it. The "clearseek" picks up the strongest radio stations (duh...) and when you do get transmitter and radio in line, the static interference is so bad it's unlistenable.
Do NOT waste your money. The positive reviews in here are obviously from Kensington "plants" trying ... Read More
Rating: - Oh, the good times...
My old Kensington radio transmitter (a white one) has almost two years of use, so it is getting worn out, like, the wire has a bad contact, it's dirty, so, I thought: let's buy the new one. Then, after I got it, I tried to use this product in: big cities, roads in the middle of the nowhere, different ... Read More
Rating: - Threw it out the window!
After less than 10 minutes of having this device that Kensington mailed me for free to replace an older worn down model, this thing found itself on the highway complete with the instructions so hopefully some highway worker has an iPod...but with how crappy this thing picks up signals he won't get much use out of it either!
Rating: - Form your own opinion!!
For a while, I was the proud owner of a Kensington 33199 Digital FM Transmitter and Auto Charger for iPod (Black), yet, after much wear & tear, the wires became loose and it was time to get a new one. During my search, I stumbled upon the "Kensington LiquidFM(tm) Deluxe for iPod FM Transmitter K33424US", noticing that it was the most recent version of the one I had owned for about a year. Since I was pleased with my previous purchase, the obvious choice was to invest in this one. The choice became ... Read More
