I have my own business and I bought this monitor as an extended display for my laptop. I use it every day for editing files and testing code. I have been using it for about 4 months and I am quite happy with it. Here's why:
-- It has good resolution.
-- The size is very nice for looking at several documents, especially in conjunction with my laptop screen.
-- The angle of the screen is adjustable to accommodate people of different heights.

I recently purchased 2 of these monitors when the price dropped at $160. The shipping saved me $40 for both monitors when I placed my order via Amazon compared to purchasing it directly from Tiger Direct. They shipped both monitors to my FPO military address (which was a big help). I used the DVI to HDMI cable which works great. I used separate powered speaker for better sound. Excellent monitor, don't be afraid of the great price. I only had 1 dead pixel which is hardly noticeable after a few days. Great buy.

I bought this monitor about 4 month ago when it was on sale at BestBuy. The Picture Quality is awesome. I don't have the speakers connected and I cannot here a thing - just as I expect I wouldn't.
