Product DescriptionThe Mighty Mouse's tracking engine is based on powerful laser technology that delivers 20 times the performance of standard optical tracking, giving you more accuracy and responsiveness on more surfaces. It works just as well on your office desk as it does on a table at your favorite coffee spot without a mousepad. The Might Mouse combines the capability of a multibutton mouse with Apple's signature top-shell design for both form and function. Mighty Mouse's Scroll Ball features miniature sensors that allow you to manipulate what appears on your screen merely by moving your finger. The 360-degrees scrolling perfectly positions to roll smoothly under just one finger. Touch-sensitive technology under Mighty Mouse's seamless top shell detect where you're clicking, transforming your sleek, one-button mouse into a two-button wonder. Pan images in iPhoto, view timelines in iMovie HD and Final Cut Pro, traverse bars in GarageBand and Logic Pro while sipping your morning cup of coffee or typing. Pre-programmed to launch Dashboard, Mighty Mouse's side buttons show you all your open windows in Expose with a squeeze. Mac OS X gives you the capability to choose any application from the intuitive System Preference pane.

Rating: - Ditto: JUNK!
If you like a nice looking, state of the art attempt at tomorrows technology get the Mighty Mouse. However, a word of caution: Leave it in the box it came in. Using it will only results in early termination.
No matter how clean your working environment is, the ball will clutter up, the seamless body creates an over sensitive contact with the right button. The side buttons are a rigid part of the lower frame. You have to apply excessive force to make them function. And any over force, above ... Read More
Rating: - The track ball will fail
The track ball on the top of the mouse will fail; read the other reviews, it's just a matter of time. What makes it doubly disappointing is that the mouse is so expensive when compared to the price of other mouses that are Mac compatible.
Rating: - Not Quite Perfect
I recently purchased my second wireless Mighty Mouse -- this one for my desktop system, a Dual-G5 PowerMac -- when my Logitech S530 mouse died an early death. My first wireless Mighty Mouse was purchased for my MacBook Pro.
Initially, I replaced the failed Logitech mouse for the desktop with the tailed version of the Mighty Mouse (review posted on Amazon), which did not work out for me. (Details in my other review.) So, based on my positive experience with a wireless Mighty Mouse and ... Read More
Rating: - By far the ugliest modern Apple product
I bought this expecting something as slim as the wonderful wired version, but no, do not let the pictures fool you - This mouse is over an inch thick. Coming from Apple, I expected a simplistic, polished mouse, but it seems more like a cheap chinese knockoff of the mighty mouse. By far, the wireless mighty mouse is the ugliest modern Apple product.
Rating: - Ergonomics leave much to be desired
I am a recent convert to the MacOS and purchased the Apple Mighty Mouse to use with my MacBook Pro. The bluetooth works perfectly, no complaints with that.
The only downside, which in my opinion is a big one, is that this mouse is not very comfortable to work with. Ever since I came close to getting Carpal Tunnel many years ago, I have been a stickler for good computer workstation ergonomics. This mouse is flat and the uncomfortable grip makes it hard to use for extended work sessions. ... Read More
