For the cheapest mouse pad SteelSeries makes this is excellent! I would recommend upgrading to SteelSeries Experience I-1. You don't have to be a graphic designer to enjoy the ease of their mouse pads. :) Let alone anything else SteelSeries makes.

I bought this pad to replace a aging 5 year old Belkin Gel Wristpad. The surface is finely stitched (nylon?) and has a nice cloth texture. It provides just enough resistance for my general mouse usage and gaming since I'm used to the resistance cloth and foam mousepads give.
The bottom is textured cloth but the fibers seem to coated with rubber and does have a slight textured rubber feel to it. Unfortunately, I'm using it on a laminated wood desk/table and the pad will slide forward ... Read More

Great mouse pad. Slick. Nice and thin. I hate thick mouse pads. I wouldn't call it a "mini" mouse pad, though. anything bigger wouldn't even fit on my desk. It comes rolled up, it might take awhile to flatten out 100%.

The mousepad is simply a great buy. Cheap, clean and large, but not too large. The cloth feels of high quality build and it feels great with my MX518.
Rating: - Best Mousepad I've ever used
I have this mousepad paired with a Razer Copperhead and an Allsop memory foam wrist wrest and it's an amazing combination. This is easily the best mousepad I've ever used, my Copperhead just glides across it like butter. Tracking is also perfect, and my K:D ration in FPS games as gone up dramatically. Before this I had an Allsop mousepad as well, and while it was serviceable, this pad blows it out of the water.
