For the price, this camera is a winner. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and really didn't find the complaints as severe. My husband loves the ease of using it and the size is great for our travels. I would highly recommend this item. Thanks Amazon for offering the merchandise.

Some of the reviewers have stated that the camera takes blury pictures, and I noticed this to be the case indoors. I use my samsung 5 megapixel camera for indoor shots, but on a sunny day outdoors my aiptek does a very good job. I enjoy using the 8 megapixels setting because it picks up more detail than my five megapixel camera does. I just returned this camera...horrible! The concept is perfect, the actual product is crap. The video is OK, BUT, I have a macbook & it did not sync up properly. The photos would sync but not the video. The lady at the store said it would, as did the actual packing literature, but I was unable to get video over. The still camera function on this is HORRIBLE. Rating: - Broke in 20 minutes.
Takes 5 weeks for Aiptek to replace and customer pays for the long distance call and the Shipping to return the item. Can't get a refund for this defective product from Aiptek or Amazon so I can just replace this myself. Next time will spend more money for a more reputable brand and buy all electronics locally instead of online.

I love this little camera, it's compact, very easy to use, and for home users it gives you great quality videos and pictures. It plugs right out of the box into my macbook via usb and I can open the movies directly in Quicktime or edit them in iMovie, it's flawless! I bought my first A-HD in July but lost it in October, but being relatively inexpensive, I just got another one...it's a great value.
