If it weren't for this acceleration package I'd still be going nuts trying to download the dam thing - 30 hours by modum, IF You're ISP don't shut You off before then, just to have the download fail to some "ERROR" from Microsoft Games Solutions..! As usual, the more Microsoft "Updates & Improves" their products the worse they get..! I read all of the reviews posted here for this product....after I had just purchased it. A lot of them scared me because I remember having issues installing FSX. It was a nightmare. This, however, was not the case when installing the Acceleration expansion for FSX. It went flawlessly and then after install was complete, it started right up without any issues whatsoever. I bought this with a voucher that I received for my birthday and as an avid FSX pilot I wasn't disappointed. The new aircraft are both detailed and interesting to fly and come with new missions too.
The documentation is in typical 21st century game style almost completely absent. Long gone are the days of a weighty manual to help you through all the switches and procedures! This is great in theory, but it's hard to reference a PDF when you have the game full screen and not everyone wants ... Read More
