Rating: - No longer a reliable product
For almost a year, these TDK 8x DVD spindles were one of the best secret deals on the market: compared to the other reliable, but extremely expensive and much slower Verbatims and Sony DLs, these were a steal. For about half the cost, they burned faster and gave you the same quality, and at a dud ratio of about 1:9. I used to buy the spindles in sets of 2 because I went through so many.
But the others are right. After the manufacturer switched production outlets, the quality has practically ... Read More
Rating: - These DVDs make great coasters, not much else
I bought a stack of 50 of these.
I have both a Pioneer Blu-Ray burning that supports DVD Dual layer writing and I have a Lite-On Dual Layer DVD burner. Both of these fail with is media but have worked with other dual layer disks.

Rating: - Disappointment
I've burned 5 so far, in 2 different burners. The burns went fine, the automatic verification reported no problems. Rating: - Not Compatible with my LG DVD Burner
I tried these six times and every one was a coaster.
They played fine until it got near the layer switch. Then it started to freeze and pixelate.
I then purchased a spindle of Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4 and each burn was perfect.
So these TDKs are definitely not compatible with my LG DVD Burner.
