I have had no problem with these devices. I am using them predominately on a Gateway laptop computer. They are probably aailable at such a good price because of the additional expenditure inccurred if one uses the Milgo software available on the devices. I avoid that by ignoring the software, and actually deleting the Milgo folder.

Bought this drive elsewhere. Purchase with caution if you have a dell inspiron. Could not get it to work properly, extremely slow, many failures. Neither Memorex or Dell was able to solve the problem. Works great on other desktops.
