Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fianlly...
I have been a Norton user for years and have on occassion swithched to other providers. But when I read the reviews on N360, I had to try it and I have been impressed. Its memory usage is significantly less than prior versions and other providers and requires little or no attention from the user. I especially like the identity protection although I get frustrated when I log into a site that I have previously logged into and saved my information and it asks me again if I want to save the login information. ... Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Norton 360
I opted for this program instead of renewing with the Antivirus program due to some of the options offered with 360. The biggest problem I believe Norton needs to address is with the back-up issue that is built in, there should be a way to disable this option without having a "red X" displayed on your desktop> I belive Norton put programed it in this fashoin to sell back-up space on their website, which I feel stinks! The other option is to buy and endless supply of RW DVDs or twice as many RW CDs to back ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Norton 360 Install nightmare
As my current Norton 360 subscription was expiring, I clicked on the link to upgrade (thinking this would be a quick solution...) The installation failed, and directed me to the web site where I printed instructions on how to proceed on a second attempt. It failed a second time. Now however my computer was without virus protection as it deleted the old version in the install. I went to Norton's Tech Support Chat and was told that I was number 55 in queue. Thirty five minutes later (now 11p.m. the technician ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - DO NOT BUY! Worst Norton product ever!
I have been an avid Norton Symantec user for over 13 years. This is the worst product EVER. It slows your system down so much that I had to disable most of the features, which an average user will not know how to do.

My biggest complaint is that once the "virus update" expires.. it renders the entire software useless. I couldn't even go in and make simple changes to the settings, nothing to do with the virus update feature. PLUS A pop-up comes up everyday twice a day begging me to buy another year subscription. ... Read More
