Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This is a HORRIBLE product. Do not buy it.
For years I have been trying to find a device that would scan business cards for the Mac just as easily as Corex Cardscan scans business cards for the PC. This product is NOT it. It does not work. I studied computer science at a major university. I could not figure this product out and make it work. The software is weird, flaky, and inscrutable. The install disk would not even boot until I downloaded a patch and installed that first. It's got the worst human factor design of any product I ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Disappointed
The software is very slow and cumbersome. The unit I purchased would never scan a business card after many attempts of loading and unloading of the software and even working with technical support. My recommendation is not to purchase this item.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - IRISCard Pro 4
The IRISCard Pro 4 is one of the most handy gadgets around. I had never even heard of a business card scanner until I came across the IRISCard that my colleague had. It wasn't long before I went and got one of my own. I no longer have to keep all those business cards that I collect on my desk or in my bag, or basically anywhere else I end up keeping them. The fact that it is so portable is the best part. I bring it along with me to my meetings and can actually just plug and scan right after the meeting ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Poor Mac product with no twain support
I purchased this product because of promised Mac support and integration with the Mac Address Book. It does work to a degree but I do not recommend this product unless your really just want the card images.

* The scanning software is just another very bad port of Windows software:
- Very, very hard to use and not intuitive at all
- Many features don't work. Drag and drop just doesn't work in most cases.
- Slips into "modes" that you can't figure out. Menus become gray. ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - IRIS Card Reader Good on Mac
IRIS Card Reader works good on Mac. It saves a bunch of time. Application screen could be a little more straight forward, but not a deal killer. If you are doing business on a Mac, this will help you save a lot of time.
