Quick, EZ, simple. Printers are my traditional Nemesis. This one is a joy to have. The "User Friendly" programs are superior.

I've had two Epson printers, and never again! They were slow as molasses to print plain documents, they jammed frequently, they used a lot of ink, and worst, the printer would very often fail for no reason, requiring a rebooting of the computer and a lot of frustration over wasted time. I've had friends report the exact same problems.
Anyway, I just received the Canon Pixma MP 470. I am rating it 4 stars only because I've only had it for 24 hours, but so far, I am in love.

Rating: - READ THIS ONE .... Class A all-in-one for little money
It's exactly what is needed for the small office as long as you don't need a fax. Canon always = quality. Small space required even for paper in and prints out, super looking, easy to install and Canon does not want to control your whole PC like HP insists on in order to function. The Canon just works smoothly and VERY quietly. HP insists on loading all kinds of interactive software that slows down a computer system. HP spreads icons everywhere and is just annoying. I think this was a case of "you get what you pay for". I should have known something was wrong when I found a photo quality printer for $75 (shipping included). :-/
The photo quality is mediocre, the color is not true, and the printer doesn't obey the printer settings that you set up for photo printing. Big disappointment.

The Pixma MP470 exceeded my expectations.It is fast.The printed products
are sharp,the scanning coudn't be easier,and the photos are excellent.
Needless to say,I am very pleased,and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
