The Device to which the 'VGA' connector is connected, needs to support Component video(which is actually 'sync on Y', Y-Pr-Pb)or 'sync-on-green' for this type of cable to work. These cables are not compatible with computer monitor ports or Y/Cr/Cb video. Check your Plasma, Projector or HDTV manual, otherwise your picture won't sync! In this case you need a 'transcoder'.

Rating: - Great product.
I have a HD compatible projector and this cable helped me connect my blu-ray to the projector and the picture quality is just great.
I'd recommend this to anyone with a HD compatible projector or tv.
Rating: - Works perfectly
Excellent conversion cable. Some HD projectors/TVs accept the composite signal via connector that looks like a VGA one from a PC. This allows you to come out of the DVD player or other video source using 3 component plugs and go to the VGA style input on the projector. Works great.
