I bought this for my son who has a Fujitsu LifeBook Tablet PC. The PC only has 2 USB ports and he uses one for his external mouse, so he was constantly having to swap out cables between his external hard drive, and external DVD drive.
The hub took seconds to install, and importantly comes with external power so you can plug in USB devices (like external hard drives) that require powered USB ports to operate.
My son now has an external hard drive, a DVD drive and a printer ... Read More

By another 4-port hub. I have a few hubs and this one does not work. It drops the devices that are attached to it and simply does not work.
Rating: - Decent product, decent price
Not a bad little hub, had it a few months now and no troubles, and definitely a good price for a USB hub.
Rating: - pretty straightforward
this is nice small powered usb hub. some devices will only work on a powered hub, so its important to have that capability in my opinion. i've never had any problems with it and would recommend it
Rating: - Don't lose it!
Wow! This thing is small! The only problem you might have with it's tiny size is that you'll either lose it or it won't stay put. With 4 USB cables coming out of the front, it won't sit flat on the ground and is easily tossed around. I didn't really care... that just meant I could plug all my cables into and hang it over the side of my desk! It's been working perfectly for over 2 months now (OS X 10.5). I'm tempted to buy another one for my PS3 since it only has two USB ports on it.
