Arrived DOA! it made LOUD clunky sounds after inserting a DVD then power shut off. Everytime. Haven't received an RMA yet even after I spoke to a customer rep confirming he will email it to me. I paid $26 shipping. The drive is still under my desk waiting to be returned.
Last word: DON'T BUY IT!!

This machine breaks after 1 month! it starts to not recognize any rewriteable DVD! Need I say more!

Broke after 3 months. Took me hours to fill out replacement requests. It is just not worth it. I will never try this brand any more.

I recently purchased the Samsung DVD RW 18x unit from GOGOFAN..It was DOA. It took me several weeks to receive an RMA in order to return it ($10.00 additional cost on top of the $60.00 I spent for the drive).Finally I did receive a $40.00 credit from GOGOFAN, but I'm still out $30.00 for the experience. I was happy with Samsung products in the past, and a 10% failure rate is usually an industry accepted amount. However, GOGOFAN as left me with a bad taste, and I'll not purchase anything from them ... Read More

This product is easy to set up with ur pc. Burns dvds really fast and silenty. Pretty much does what it says!!! Love the product
