This microphone is pretty cheap and I was worried about the quality of sound and if it had feedback. I have to admit it works great. Comes with a very long cord and it can easily pick up voices from distances. I use it mostly for video and conference PC calls. If you are looking for an inexpensive microphone, this is the one for you. Highly recommended.

We bought two of these last Christmas. One was for our son at college and one for us. My 5 sons loved talking back and forth with each other. This doesn't cost much, but it works really well. Even with a big event that we didn't want to miss out on. Our son was going to open his mission call and find out where he would be going to do missionary work. He invited friends over and we got to hear every word and hoop from the crowd even though we live on the other side of the United States.

The microphone is pretty cheap . I have to hold it almost in my mouth to speak so my granddaughter can hear me .....but maybe that has to do with some setting on my computer , I don't know .... I should not have bought it as my old one worked just as well .

I wanted a cheap mic for simple recordings on my PC and other home application uses like for the occasion IM Voice conversation on AIM, etc. I purchase this Genius mic and have been very pleased with it. I keep it attached to the top of my monitor and swing it down when I need it. It's sensitive enough to capture everything I say cleanly without having to lean over into it.
