Rating: - GREAT PRODUCT
I bought these for my wife and she loves them. I would recommend these for purchase.
Rating: - AV-20s a disappointment
I purchased a pair of the AV-20s for my 12-year-old daughter's computer. I didn't listen to them very closely, but thought they sounded pretty good, so I bought a pair for myself to use at my office with my laptop. Ok, I AM an audiophile or at least wannabe one.
The good
First of all these speakers are a beautiful black with a cool blue light coming behind the on/off volume knob. I though they looked good online and was not disappointed. They indeed do look sharp.
A nice sturdy design that stays on the desk really good. These speaker are very stable.
The Ugly

I'm not really an audiophile or tech-head but relative to your standard 2.0 setup and the power this is probably among the best available. Well-balanced and crisp sound sufficient for close-quarters listening. I'm hearing layers in songs that I wasn't hearing at all on my last PC speakers. Real weighty, compact, and sturdy build too. Prospective buyers just be aware that there's not a headphone jack; also, that these aren't what you want for playing parties or anything, but that's probably obvious.
