This printer is a replacement to an old HP C3180 All-in-one. I have always used HP printers and they really have never disappointed me at all. The quality is good and the prices are competitive with other brands. The C3180 I had previously just ceased to function, so I started looking for a replacement, and I found this wonderful machine. Rating:  - Will not Scan to Direct Digital Filing on Small Business Server 2003
HP support confirms OfficeJet direct digital filing is incompatible with Microsoft Small Business Server 2003. Unsuccessfully tried various work arounds from the web.
If this capability is important to you under Small Business Server 2003, be forewarned.

There's only one thing wrong with this machine. I'll get to that in a minute.
The OfficeJet L7780 is a great all-in-one, much better than the 6100 series was. Print quality is great, mechanical operation is acceptable, the power-saving features and wireless communication are very worthwhile.
The printer's biggest draw is an advertised per-page cost lower than a laser printer, and much lower than the single-cartridge DeskJet printers. It's very enticing. And it might be true ... Read More
Rating: - Very Pleased
We have owned several HP products and have been pleased so we keep going back to that brand. The new printer is working very well, was easy to set up, faxing is a breeze, and we particularly like the ease of the double sided printing.
Rating: - Excellent, just needs a carefull half-hour setup. Review contains setup instructions!
Pros: Easy to setup with the basic driver package (67MB). Prints with laser-like quality and speed. Wifi works perfectly. Great panel/lcd. Great cost per page for an inkjet with the 4 seperate XL inks.
Cons: Do not install the full driver pack (300MB). It isn't needed and takes time. Also a little noisy but not much.
