This unit works extremely well as a Skype phone. I have not noticed any range problems when using it throughout my home. It conveniently recharges through any mini-USB cable, so no wall-warts or other cords are required. Sound quality is good, no better or worse than most cordless handsets. The icons on the blue-backlit screen are intuitive. Integration with the Mac Skype client is very good.
