Rating: - NOT a voice modem.
After I recieved this item and it wouldn't work I called Tiger and they said it is not a voice modem. Cost more than $10.00 to find out Amazon is advertising it incorrectly.
Rating: - Modem does not work on a mac
iMac running 10.5.3 (latest) OS. System profiler finds its presence but no recognition by standard fax applications. The very fine print says only PC applications work, but no vendor that I found adversities this limitation.
Rating: - Don't buy for voice.
Although it's said to work on voice, it doesn't. Otherwise, it works well as a data/fax modem.
