Rating: - It's the cards, not the scanner
Yes. It makes mistakes. When a card has really fancy script on it, or low contrast text (light gray text on a light blue card for instance) the scanner won't pick things up. BUT- it's amazing what it figures out - email, various phone numbers, addresses, titles of people vs company an person names, etc. The biggest advantage is actually having a picture of the actual business card right there in the contact in Outlook. Very easy to use for our busy medical practice, we scan our patient's insurance card and work very well with our new practice management software.

The installation was kinda complicated and scanning of cards were not as per the instructions given. Apart from that, the scanner works pretty well, quite accurate too. Although the accuracy depends on format of the Name Card.
