Rating: - cheap - works perfectly
I needed to get my data off a laptop drive after the motherboard died. This enclosure was cheap and worked perfectly. 2 minutes after opening the box it was set up and running....AWESOME for the price!
Rating: - Buy with Caution
Product does everything it should and promises except leads you to beleive it works on any 2.5 hard drive. I have found two problems with their claims. (1.) I have one 2.5 hard drive from an old Gateway that wouldn't fit in the case (The sizes were almost identical). (2.) My biggest beef was that it won't work with just any 2.5 hard drive, it is specifically made for an ide connection only (if it is for any 2.5 hard drive then they sure as hell short you the adapter to make it work with the SATA ... Rating: - Interface is IDE
I bought 2 thinking this would work for my two SATA drives and found out the interface was IDE. Rating it 2 stars for not listing the interface on the tech specs. No idea if the product works as intended.

Rating: - Excellent value and profile
This enclosure is an excellent value. Performance has been trouble-free, and it worked right out of the box - no problems whatsoever. After I added my laptop drive (perfect fit) and connected it to two of my USB ports (one for power, one for data), it was recognized immediately by my Windows XP computer. It has a slim lightweight compact profile which works well for travel, and has a very tight USB connection. I would highly recommend this enclosure over more expensive enclosures offered by others.
