Go with the RE version. Slower speeds, but you can ReWrite it. I was pleasantly surprised that the disc wasn't compressed too much, you really can get the lengths and size it says. Encoding times are pretty ridiculous, even if the writing speed isn't too agonizing. I put the first two Seasons of the Office (NBC), the first season of Prison Break, and the first two seasons of Lost all on one disc, with room to spare.
