This printer works very well, and at a fraction of the price it would have been new. I could not be more satisfied with this purchase, and am thrilled to be done with inkjet printers.

I needed a simple B&W printer to meet basic needs, was tired of the constant clogging of the ink jet. The printer works great, it networked easily with my airport, and I had no problems setting it up on my macs. I have two minor comments about the printer. First, the paper tray needs juggling to get it to seat properly. It took a bit of effort to get the paper to feed correctly. Rating: - great for 1 year then done
I've been using the printer as a home printer meaning it was never used hard
and was very happy. It's a little over a year old now and time to replace, it starts
to print then all the lights in my office dim way down and it dies. The red paper
light flashes but I have plenty of paper, if I reset it sometimes it'll run but most
of the time it won't run until it cools down for an hour. Guess I'll look at other
brands because I don't trust this unit is made to last.

The Brother HL-2040 Monochrome Laxer Printer ELH 2040 is excellent and does not produce rounded pages. The cable amazon recommends is too long. Would have given five stars, but have only had a couple of months.
