well, i can't figure out how to get the picture to NOT be purple
i have black hair, and it seems to be lilac on the computer.
Also, i can not figure out how to get the microphone to work.
or the lights on the front of the camera

The camera works great, but it does not work at nightime as advertised. I emailed tech support and asked how to make happen (turn on led's) and was ignored.

I works under Linux. The v4l driver module you will need is either the spca5xx or the newer gspca module. Enjoy! See newegg.com's website for more reviews on this product. The resolution is poor, but the price is right. I got this to use with Skype.
