The 4 Port Print Server does the basics of what it is advertised to do. It very quickly identified and configured and labeled my 3 printers. Caveats: does not have a 64bit driver, so the Keyspan application will not work with advanced desktops or laptops. The print server will occasionally hold the print job until another activity occurs on the printer. The Keyspan website has limited support and is more focused on advertising its new products.

After 6 months of use, the print server stopped working. Anything hooked up to it (computers, printers, scanners) was not recognized. Repeated inquiries to Keyspan for assistance in troubleshooting were ignored. Very frustrating.

I had to replace a Hawkings print server with the Keyspan PS-4A 4 Port Print Server. The Hawkings device was just flaky and needed frequent resets.

The client setup wasn't exactly intuitive. It took me a little while to figure out the automatic connections and it takes the print off ... Read More

This little guy works pretty well. I have 2 USB printers shared between 4 computers. The only problem is the autoconnect feature, without which you need to open up the driver and select the printer you're going to use, which prevents others from using it until you un-select it. Autoconnect seems to work about 50% of the time, and the remainder you have to go through the manual steps described. Kind of a drag, but for the $ it's still a good solution.
Rating: - Not quite ready for Vista
I purchased this print server so that two notebook computers could share a USB printer over a wireless network. I had considered the more versatile USB Server US-4A but chose this model for it automatic connection and disconnection which the US-4A does not appear to have. This feature should result in the ability to print just by choosing to print from a program normally. While printing the server locks the printer from accepting requests from the other PCs. Unfortunately the auto-connect feature never ... Read More
