I have a bunch of these that we use in conference rooms to extend the in-table computer's USB up to the table top so people can plug in USB memory sticks as necessary. I wanted something really small and this was the perfect size for this use. They've worked flawlessly in this capacity.

While it worked, I was pleased. It actually requires two slots for using powered USB components, such as an iPod, fan, or multi-picture card reader. Very compact design and works automatically with both Mac OS or XP Pro.

I received this as a gift for Christmas and finally opened the packaging and started using it.
GREAT product, I have my Blackberry, Samsung P2 (music and video player) and Jawbone charging from this USB device which is the size of a postage stamp. The Y cable allows you to either plug in one or two cables as needed (Y - one cable for power and data and an additional cable for additional power).
