THIS WAS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. IT WASN'T EASY TO FIND A CASE FOR A 17 INCH NOTEBOOK THAT WASN'T A PIECE OF LUGGAGE, BUT IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT, VERY STURDY, AND THE PRICE WAS RIGHT! I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

This is an affordable, lightweight, flexible, water resistant bag for carrying my Lenovo 17 inch laptop. I like its fabric and light weight and the way my laptop slips easily into the case. I can carry it either in my hand or over my shoulder. I wish it had better pockets for cords, battery pack, wireless mouse etc, but cannot imagine how a case of this design could do anything different. I have a Targus Rolling Travel Notebook Case for my laptop and related stuff that is the size of a piece of carry on luggage. Before the airlines got screwy, I never had a problem using it as a carry on. Now, sometimes it is allowed as a carry on, sometimes not, even by the same airline. Obviously, I don't want to check my lap top with it if the Case is rejected as a piece of carry on luggage, so I got this thin Slip Case to carry inside the Rolling Case. It's inexpensive - that's the good part.
Not much padding for the computer. Not the best backpack, but if your main concern is price it will get the job done.
