Installation was quick and easy, and it seems to work quite well. It may even have given us a little bit of a speed boost.

I have had this product for about a couple days now, and I have nothing but positive feedback for this switch. I originally ran out of ports on the back of my wireless routers, so I needed a switch to add some more ports. Simply plugged it in to a port on the wireless router, and plugged my other ports and worked like a charm. That is the right switch for what I want to built inside my house, wiring all the bedrooms and the lobby with a server and one Microsoft Media Center Computer. Better speed than wireless system and better performance.

This piece of hardware is perfect for a medium size LAN party. Works incredibly well, and I had no problems setting it up. Rather than trying to hook up numerious hubs to routers and having to troubleshoot the connections and finding that faulty port, just plug directly into this baby. While it does require longer cat-5 cables, just make your own 100ft-ers, its the easiest thing to do.
