My favorite friend and trusty back up. When attched too a high speed 2.0 USB port this product flies with ease along with being extremely quiet.
I recommend this Product to all music lovers that want the best of both Worlds.

I have never written a review before, but this product deserves it. I bought this product a few months ago. Is excellent it burns cds in 3 min. I do not care about the software because who uses that software anyways!!! No problem with any software. Excellent buy no regrets I love it.

I am always sticking it to myself by going cheap. This time, I'm ok! My imation 4x4x6 external USB CD-RW died (after more than two years of faithful service, long out of warranty) and I spent a chunk of time shopping for an external USB DVD-RW, but they are still too expensive for a cheap guy like me. Plus, I want standards and security to settle a little more. (Another six to twelve months ought to do it for both categories, right?)

Rating: - Invest in better software!
CD burner works fine, and ease of installation makes it worth 4 stars ... but HotBurn software is terrible ... I'm looking for compatible software that will work better with the drive.

I agree with the other negative reviews concerning Mac's and this CD burner. I burned 'part' of a successful CD with HotBurn, but still encountered many problems. HotBurn seemed so limited, I decided to invest in Toast software. Gee, whaddya know...Toast does not support this Iomega drive. So now I have spent [the money]. Roxio (Toast) support told me that Iomega USB 2 will not work with Toast. Iomega says that it will, but will just burn at slower speeds using a USB 1.1 NOT SO!!! Have no ... Read More
