Rating:  - sound worse than the ear buds that came with my sansa clip!
These are the worst headphones ever! I bought them at radio shack for $52 and they are going back first thig tomorrow.
Rating:  - Outrageously comfortable, BUT...
I first tried on the Koss UR40s at a local store and immediately fell in love with how light and comfortable they were. The mesh band is great for the top of the head, and the around-ear design keeps them from pinching your ears (and I've had no problems with wearing glasses). It's worth noting that comfort was a big, BIG factor in my decision making, so if you absolutely want comfortable headphones that are wearable for hours on end, you might want to consider these.

Rating: - Not Happy
These were an impulse purchase with a gift card at Borders. They were $39.95 but I had a 40% off coupon and they are still going back. Muddy sound that is hardly better than the Sony Walkman earphones I was using.Expected more from Koss!!
Rating: - Outstanding sound, exterior a bit flimsy
Good, powerful, clear sound with deep bass.
Very light headset, comfy, you might forget you have it on your head.
The almost non-existent pressure on your ears, however, does not help with noise canceling. So you'd better have a quiet room.
Finally, the whole thing seems fragile. Don't drop it.

I listen mostly to Jazz, Phish and the Grateful Dead - music with lots of dynamic range. These headphones, once burned in, sound nicer than my 200.00 grados. That might be because they are very very comfortable. I forget I am wearing them. The highs seem crisp and detailed and the pair has very nice bass response without being boomy. The sound is warm. If you want accuracy for under 30 dollars these are for you. If you want headphones that sound bright, look elsewhere.
