Easy installation recognize automatically. I installed this on a Dell C640 Laptop. The product is working OK in almost 1 month. The big thing that the seller can improve is information about compatibility. I had to looked and looked for to be sure that RAM would be compatible with my C640.

GOT IN THE MAIL FAST. UNSCREWED BACK PANLE ON LAPPY, POPED OUT INFEIROR RAM. POPED IN THE NEW STUFF. SCREWED IT BACK UP. TURNED ON MY DELL INSPIRON 1100. IT WAS LIKE OOOOOO YOUR RAM HAS CHANGED FINALY THAK BHUDDA. AND THEN I WAS LIKE YA YA COMPUTER. JUST HAVE A LIL TALK WITH THE BIOS AND LETS GO ... SO THEY TALKED ACCSEPTED THE CHANGES AND RESTARTED AND MY COMPUTER WAS HAPPY. NO MORE WRIGHTING TO THE HD CAUSE THERE IS NOT ENOUGH REAL MEMORY... BUT IN SHORT IT WAS SHIPED FAST AND WORKED GREAT
