I wish there were more history games like this. My kids love it. It is buggy. The trick is to save the file often so you don't lose all your hard travelin' work.

I read some of the 1 star reviews - I feel sorry for them, but did not have any problems. Installed on both computers in our home, laptop and desktop running xp professional. No problems ever. It does take a long time to set up, so I do it and save it for my son who is 7. He needs a little guidance, but does it mostly himself. Lots of superfluous extras, but still good. I want to buy this for my kids new computer, but I need to know if it works with xp thank you

I don't know if I wasn't paying attention, or was just not informed. But this program doesn't work with macs even though it was used on the old apple2GS which is just a super old version of a mac. Don't get this if you have a mac!

said it would work on vista well definately not to my satisfaction took hours to find a patch for it to work at all. Finally got it to work but some of the features are lost which is a shame. This is a wonderful game used to enjoy it on my xp thus wanted it for my vista it sits collecting dust due to the lost things for vista but I highly recommmend it for XP
