Rating: - Worse than random internet vendors
I love the Brother HL-1850 printer: crisp and economic. I've been buying replacement toner cartridges for my home printer, my office printer, and my lab printer. This is the first time I felt less cheap and went for Amazon, rather than googling some obscure online vendor. I went through about 6-7 cartridges among the 3 brother printers in the past 6 years. This one lasted for, I don't know, 2 months? It's ridiculous. I'll go back to my cheap mode and buy the $25 version.
Rating: - New printer for the price of toner
The Brother laser printer has served me well since 1991. When print quality indicates, I buy a new toner cartridge and receive the effect of a new printer. Installation is as easy as adding paper, and the genuine Brother cartridge fits and functions perfectly.

I've been buying this product from Amazon for years, as I do an awful lot of printing (like a few hundred pages at a time). Product always arrives on time and the price is great. Good job as always.
Rating: - You can't beat OEM
I think it goes without saying "buy OEM at the best price you can find" and from the most reputable companies. As much as I have always tried to give the "little guy" as much business as I can, everytime I do. the "little guy" takes advantage of me.
Just prior to ordering this product from Amazon I made the mistake of trying to save money with a small vendor and an "equal" product. I will have to throw it away with a loss of [...] and a non-responsive vendor.

Rating: - I've tried others, this is better
I have been using my Brother printer for over three years and have had the opportunity to try both Brother toner cartridges and off brand toner cartridges. The Brother branded cartridges simply work better and longer.
