this is wireless-B - and is good for older notebook compatibility on a mixed wireless system.
Rating:  - Highly reliable, easy to setup.
Title says it all. Linksys/Cisco is also great for providing driver and bios updates for their devices, so I highly recommend Linksys adapters and routers.

I donno if this is the best in the market but go for it if its still cheap. I use it with my 7 yr old 'monster' Dell laptop. Works perfect.

This unit worked as advertised but short on distance. I have 98 SE and this unit was the only one that worked for me. I tried others but 98 would not run them. I'm satisified with the results but wish it had more range.
