Rating: - Not for beginners, not for any one
I expected that a book published by the company who developed the application would, to a great extent, be the definitive source of information. Personally I learned more from the Help resource in Excel than this book. In particular, most books on programming begin by describing the basic types/structures/fundamentals then moving into more and more detail all the while providing insightful and informative examples, some of which are built upon through out the text.
Rating: - Defective Index Destroys Any Value
I use a book like this mainly for reference on specific points. The index is so defective, however, that the book is almost entirely worthless. (Try looking up "Shared Workspace task pane", for example)

I agree with the masses, not such a good book. Does anyone know where the errata is located at for this book?

No explanations of the code are offered so that you can follow his train of thought. I think he is off in the Delta Quadrant somewhere. The index is next to useless. Try to find 'comments' and you are directed to a page that has the word 'comments' on it but explains nothing regarding adding COMMENTS to your code. Most of his examples ... Read More
